Markus Dertwinkel-Kalt is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, working on Industrial Organization and Behavioral Economics. In particular, his research focuses on the effects of salience and limited attention on economic choice. Markus holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics, a M.Sc. in Mathematics, and a PhD in Economics from the Heinrich-Heine University Düsseldorf. Markus was a visiting scholar at the NHH Bergen, CEU Budapest, Royal Holloway College London, and University of Oxford. From 2017-2020 he was a member of Junges Kolleg.
In April 2021, he will start as Professor of Applied Microeconomics at the University of Konstanz.
